Our Mission and Story
Located less than a mile from the Ross Heart Hospital, Unverferth House serves as a temporary residence for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center patients and families who live outside Franklin County. Our mission is to provide a supportive community and a welcoming environment, keeping families close to the world-class healthcare they need.
The Unverferth House is a non-profit organization owned and operated by a volunteer Board of Trustees. The House is funded solely by our generous sponsors and donors, who allow our guests to stay at the House free of charge.
